Writing News — August 20

God dropped another door in my path this week. One of our Sunday preachers at the nursing home brought a visitor: his sister, all the way from Harare, Zimbabwe.

It turns out Tapiwa Gwenlisa “Gwen” Marange is a lot more than my friend’s sister and my sister in Christ. She’s also an international mover and shaker in the United States on special invitation from the Mandela Washington Fellowship. Her cause? International Albinism awareness.

And God brought her to my door, her story untold in the United States. Guess what I’ve been doing this week?

I am two-thirds of my way through the edits on Her Rocky Mountain Highness. TBR in October and I’ve completed 16 devotions for the 2019 edition of Daily Wisdom. Forget Me Not Romances has released a collection of previously published Christmas titles. A Beach Christmas includes my story, Merry Christmas, With Love.

Very interesting you what God dropped on your door. We never what plans He has for us. How do you keep up with all your writing? You seem to have so many wonderful stories . Do you do any research for them. Looking forward to each new book you write.

Oh, Deana, Yes, I research every book to greater or lesser degrees. Right now I’m struggling a bit with time, because God has given me several things now. I’m thrilled, though! I can’t imagine it.
